Leukorrhea

Leukorrhea

Labour and Confinement

Labour and Confinement

Pre-labour symptoms include: decend of the fetus, slight pain or tiredness of the waist and abdomen, heaviness of the lower abdomen, sensation to defecate, periodic contraction of the uterus.

During confinement/postpartum, the body condition is of deficiency/weak, and with blood stasis/reduced blood circulation.

Lactation is an important concern after delivering of baby. To promote breastmilk production, initial stimulation should be as early as possible after delivery, and Qi-Blood-Essence of the mother is very important for production of breastmilk.
